Surrey local Library Microfilm help for newspaper picture of Maydon Wedding

This is a newspaper photo of the wedding of Lt Stephen Maydon RN & Joan Baker in 1938, can anything be done please?

Hi Bob,

I have had a go with no success I am afraid. A lot of the detail has been lost in the dark shadows, when I tried to lighten the image it revealed very little.

This is just a suggestion but if the paper involved has been put on microfilm in the local library it could be possible if a very kind person on the Surrey section of Rootschat might? be able to get you a better copy for you to work with.

What date was the wedding.

Rosie, the wedding was on 26 April 1938 and was in the 29 April edition of the paper
