1st madras fusiliers, Harry Rolfe

I have found a relative who was born in 1836. I am looking to confirm when he died and if there were any children. Any additional information about him it would be a bonus. Anyone there to help.

There was a Harry Rolfe married Ann Carroll at Bangalore St Mark,Madras  19 May 1859 grooms age 23 brides age 17 father Thomas Rolfe brides Edward Carroll,Groom was a private 1st Madras Fusiliers married by licence

Mary Elizabeth Rolfe b 23 Sep 1860 Bangalore,Madras parents Henry Rolfe ans Anne
Percival Walter Rolfe b 3 Mar 1864 Cannanore,Madras parents Harry Rolfe and Anne

there are a few marriages on familysearch but these are the only 2 children you could confirm so far,the marriage have father as Harry Rolfe,worth having a look at the site.

Is there anyone with access to military records. I think Rolfe may have been a military man, 1st Madras in particular

looking through familysearch found a marriage 19 Jul 1875 Ann Rolfe father Edward Carroll marries a William Norris at Poonamallee,Madras her age given as 33 so looks like Harry died

His records are on FindMyPast and he was a colour sergeant,you can see him at 1871 census in Dover
He dies 8 Jul 1874 Madras

other children Ive just found on 1871 census with Anne 27 b East Indies are Mary E 10,Edith A 8 Percy W 7 all born East Indies Roland H 5 b Chatham Kent and Mabel W 1 b Chatham Kent their marriages are on familysearch in India

there doesnt appear to be service records but 1871 Worldwide British Army Index gives this information service no 3475 colour sergeant 102nd regiment of foot Royal Madras Fusiliers
