John Morris 1881 Census

Can anyone please help me break down a brick wall? John Morris was born about 1847 but I don't know where. From his marriage certificate from Nov 1881, I know that he was a 'licenced victualler' and, although he was married in Bristol, he was residing in Liverpool. His father, William, had been a farmer but had died by the time of John's marriage.

Can anyone please help in finding him in the 1881 census?

Who did he marry- Mary Newnham or Eliza Williams?  Wouldn't you be better looking for him on the 1891 census to determine his birthplace?

Which of his children are you descended from so we can find the correct family in 1891

He married Eliza Williams. Eliza had remarried by 1891 and I'm presuming John had died

I'm not aware of any children born to John and Eliza

Where did Eliza remarry and to whom as there is no entry for Gloucs in 1891
