Hello!
I am trying to trace the story of the family of my Great Grandfather Ernest Hall. I have had fantastic success through RootsChat in finding out what happened to his eldest brother who emigrated to Australia and was hoping someone could help me with the last missing link - his sister Gladys Mary Hall.
The facts I know are:
Gladys Mary Hall, born Cornwall approx. 1891. Mother/family moved to Bradford 1910/1911.
1911 census: Living with aunt in Redhill Surrey, studying Home Science at Kings College for Women
1914 married Harold Mcfarland Davis
1946 living in 42 Hilltop London NW11
Had at least one son, John Grenfell Royer Davis, a journalist in Exeter Devon when married in 1939 to Gladys Mabel Boulton. Poss Navy in WW2 and died 1984
Are there any relatives out there of anyone else following a line that links into this?
