Stephen Teague and Anne Trewartha

Hello and happy new years eve

This is a marriage for Stephen Teague and Anne Trewartha.

This is the baptism of their daughter and wife of John Matthew Nicholls

I was wondering if someone could please help find information on Stephen and Anne and possible baptisms for them.

I don't have much to go on, but Elizabeth died in 1902 in Bridgend, South Wales and her husband died in 1890 in the Morfa Mining Disaster.

John's parents were John Nicholls and Elizabeth Matthews. Both of them died in Penzance

It may be hard to find Anne Trewartha's birth, because there is another marriage around the same time of an Anne Trewartha and a James Trenberth, also in Gwenap

what about Stephen? His surname was spelt either Treague or Teague

If you look at FS, there are a few Ann Trewarthas born around the same time.
However, there is one with parents Mark and Mary. https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J7KV-1NL

1841 137/57/14 shows Ann Tregue, 40 yrs, with children including Elizabeth.
Next door is Mark Trewartha 60 yrs, with two probable sons.

1851 1914/369/10 shows Ann Teague and family - transcribed as League.

There are however published trees for the Trewartha family with info which is all over the place and they don't have Ann married to Teague.

It has the name of the witnesses to this marriage.  It may be of some help to you.

Mark & Mary Trewartha - have a number of children baptised from 1801 - 1820. It's possible the Ann Trewartha - baptised 1801, is the one that married Stephen Treague/Teague.

I presume Henry is Brother of Stephen but I cant find their Baptisms to prove it.
