I am researching the "Drury" family for my bro in law and wonder if anyone can find any more info re

DRURY Jeremaiah  Re his Birth, Marriage and Death  i.e. so looking for his parents (maybe abt 1791)

his wife is Elizabeth Lower  and they have children baptised in Seaford Sussex England.....

One of his sons.... Henry Drury  is married to Annie Marie Bolwell and they end up in Victoria  I can't find an immgration for them?

one of Henry's Son William Charles Drury is born about 1862

There are places called Victoria all over the world, including Australia and Canada - which one do you mean?

Sorry the information was incomplete....  I think it is Henry born 1826 Sussex and died 1913 Victoria, Aus   I am not sure where he married Annie or how or when they arrive in Australia

William Charles looks like he is born in Ballarat Victoria Aus....

So Jeremiah I think would be born is Sussex...

FS has Henry Drury s/o Jeremiah & Elizabeth, born 26 Apr 1826, baptised 28 May 1826 at Seaford, Sussex

A Merchant Seaman record for Henry Drury born 26 Apr 1826 at Seaford Sussex, height 5'4", brown hair, fair complexion, light blue eyes, no marks, first went to sea as an apprentice in 1843, when not at sea resides in London.

1841 census has this family  living in St Mary, Newington, now London borough of Southwark . Added information to the transcription gives his place of birth as Seaford, but this has been submitted by someone as obviously it is not on the census, just not born in county. It could explain by Henry lives in London when not at sea.

Jeremiah and Elizabeth married at Bishopstone church 4 Jan 1814.    He is a bachelor otp and she is a spinster of Seaford.     Bishopstone is a small hamlet just west of Seaford, on the coast.    Now lots of bungalows but was very small in those days.  Lovely church up on a hill.

1852 - again has been corrected by someone to Drury. Bishopstone is just outside Seaford, between there and Newhaven.
