Whatever happened to Edmund Lee b. 1790?
« on: Saturday 31 January 15 21:59 GMT (UK) »
Hi there. I have come to a brick wall trying to trace my ancestor Edmund Lee who married Ann Broad of Erith.  I have a marriage record but then nothing in the 1841 census for him. His wife Ann is found living with Thomas Hate in the 1841 census and then they get married in 1847.
I found a death record or 2 for Edmund Lee at st Saviour Southwark and the Strand, London in 1841 which could be him bit it was after the 1841 census.  I also found records for an Edmund Lee in prison in 1836 and again in 1837. Looks like poor removal law.
I also have no idea who his parents were. Most Edmund Lee baptisms are from Lancashire.

Thanks in advance.

Matt
