freeBMD Strange annotation
« on: Thursday 12 February 15 16:27 GMT (UK) »
Hi, there:

I've come across the birth registration with the name being followed by an emboldened 'T' - I notice in another one that there is an 'L'.  What do these annotations mean please?

Ta everso!

Would you care to give us an example - assuming the person concerned is not likely to be still alive.  I have been transcribing for FreeBMD for many years, but haven't come across anything like this.  :-\
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Hi, Bumble:

My computer seems to hiccup at least once per day...I bookmarked this record (instead of Shoeboxing it) and it seems to have disappeared into thin air.  I'll have to go back through my history to find which one it is.  However, I did see it - honest!!!  Watch this space...
