Hi

Looking for any info on George E N Worth, believed to be born around 1915 died March 1943 in Plymouth Devon, married to Kathleen Crumpton, can't find any other records for him at all e.g where he was born or who his parents were.

Thanks

Familysearch has a baptism for George Edward Noel worth in Devon 1915, but no more details.
Citation is devon parish registers 1538-1912 film no. 004634539.
This seems to be a random batch of 400 records
I have checked a few of these on freebmd and they all were in plimpton registration district

Mike

There s a George H Worth on freebmd March quarter 1915 in plympton, I have looked at the image and it could easily be E, not H,  maybe they added the Noel at the christening
What do others think

Hi Mike, just looked at the original and to me it looks like it could be N (for Noel).
Robbins - Wolverhampton.
Spooner - Monmouthshire & Wolverhampton.
Warner & Loundes - Dudley/West Bromwich.
Dod(g)son - Heysham/Liverpool/Wolverhampton

The 1915 Plympton birth index has mmn of Rowe.  There are several other children with Worth/Rowe name combinations (wont list them here in case they are still alive, but they are easy enough to find on freebmd).  There is a potential Worth/Rowe marriage in Plympton in 1906 between William John Worth and possible Emma Mary E Rowe (other bride is Ellen Venton Hawkings, but I think she married James Swan)
