Maher Family in Clintstown, Kilkenny

Hi - can anyone help me in researching the Maher family in the townland of Clintstown, Kilkenny?

I know that Patrick Maher (b1820) my GGGrandfather was born in Clintstown and married Sarah Connery in the then new Conahy Parish Church in 1840, before emigrating to Australia the same year.  I want to know about the rest of his family (upstream in Ireland), and also that of the Connery family, also (I think) from Clintstown).

thanks Conahy Calling - I actually have previously found and copied all this stuff.

What I am after is some linkage of "my" Patrick Maher with the Patrick Maher who appears in the Griffiths Valuation record for Clintstown, recorded in May 1849 (ie after "my" Patrick had left for Australia).  Is this his father?  And is the Philip Maher recorded in the 1826 Tithe Applotments his grandfather?  Same with a William Connery in Clintstown in 1849, and a Thomas Connery in 1826 - were they the immediate family of "my" Sarah Connery?

Is there anyone researching the Maher family in Clintstown, Conahy, Kilmacar etc?  How can I start constructing a family tree?

I didn't know about those websites, although I have visited both cemeteries.  I do know Deidre Leahy (who took the grave photos) who is related to the Maher family, but not sure if it's "my" Mahers.

I'm still searching for the "missing link" between my Mahers and the Mahers in the various records and headstones etc.

this is the earliest Connory baptism I could find in Clintstown - might indicate that William in Griffiths is more likely to be a brother of Patrick but as Conaghy pointed out the parish records don't start early enough to make a definitive connection.
