Anna Waters from Wales

I'm looking for any information on an Anna Waters B. 14 Aug 1848 in Wales. Her death certificate (23 Feb 1933 in Pennsylvania, USA) lists John Waters as her father. It does not list a mother (passed away? ran off?). I have no other info, other than she emigrated to the US/Canada in 1852 or 1862. She possibly has a brother Henry as I have seen records of an Anna and Henry on a ship in 1863...(this could just be a coincidence).

Any info on Anna and John would be deeply appreciated. Anna would be my great great grandmother who raised my grandfather (who is deceased) as his parents passed away at an early age. John would be my great great great grandfather.

Have you Annas Birth/Baptism record it would have her mothers name

The Welsh 1851 census has 3 possibilities - One as Ana and 2 as Ann 

The one as Ana looks like she may have been born before her mother married

1851 for Merthyr Tydfil

Freebmd marriage entry for March qtr 1851 shows Susan as Susanna Walters - not Waters.  GRO index also shows Walters

Free BMD has this birth:

Ann Waters. September quarter 1848 Abergavenny volume 26 pg 54


This would fit for birth date and is the only one I can see.

Do you know if they went straight to Pennsylvania?  In 1870 there is an Anna Waters aged 25 with her  ?brother James and his wife Emma.

Looking at the tree, she married in Tioga.

Family Search has Anna Walters with father John in 1870 in Tioga.
