Samuel Charlton marriages Northampton

I've been told of two marriages by license at Northampton St Mary of Samuel Charlton of Harrold.

25 May 1721 Samuel CHARLTON to Judith MARSHALL of Kingsthorpe (but born at Carlton?)
14 July 1737 Samuel CHARLTON to Rose Granborough of Brafield on the Green

Can someone please check to confirm these & tell me Samuel's status on second marriage

I've just checked the Northamptonshire Marriages Index. Both marriages are at Northampton St Giles and the earlier one lists Samuel's surname as Charleton, otherwise just as you have them written. No status for Samuel in either entry, I'm afraid.

Sam. Charleton of Harrold, Beds, yeoman, married Eliz. Lucas of Wellingborough, widow, 1709/10 Feb 23 at Gt Harrowden by license.

Thanks for checking Bryan .... the last marriage in 1709/10 could be for his father... Samuel Charlton, whose wife Mary was buried at Harrold in Feb 1708/9

They baptised 9 children between 1728 & 1748

Also Henry Charlton to a Mary... baptised children 1795-1798

Also Daniel Charlton to a Susanna... baptised children 1796-1798

They baptised 9 children between 1728 & 1748

... this might explain the burial of a Mary Charlton at Wollaston on 23 Jan 1805, she's the first wife of Henry.

One more ... I'm looking for marriage of Samuel Charlton (who was buried at Harrold 1736) to Mary Birt/Burt (daughter of Daniel) who was buried at Harrold 1709 - so could be around 1665-1680?

Sorry, John ... nothing found for Samuel/Mary marriage. Have checked for both names and looked at Wollaston. If they married just over the border in NTH, then Bozeat remains a possibilty, but early regs destroyed in fire in 1729.

I saw the 1795 baptism & 1805 burial of Samuel Chalton at Wollaston (as per Rushden Heritage website) but I'm thinking that the 1805 burial is for Samuel Chalton, yeoman who has entry in wills index 1805 28 Feb.
