Muthill and Methven Perthshire 1841 Census

If anyone could help re the following in a look up in the 1841 Census returns, I would be most grateful.

Methven:  Mc Laren William born 1788 in Muthill, shown in Piggot's Directory 1837 as a cart and wheelwright

and

Muthill: Mclaren John born Muthill 1790, shown in Piggots as an inn keeper/vintner in Ardoch.

          1841 Scotland Census. Methven East Half, Methven Perthshire.
               William McLaren  45  Carpenter.
               Mary         "         40.
               David        "         14.
               Jean         "          12.
               Lilias         "         10.
               Mary         "           4.
               William      "           1.
               Alexander Brown  35  Carpenter J.  (Journeyman)
               James Stevenson  17  Carpenter Ap. (Apprentice)
          All born Perthshire.
     1841 Census: Adult ages rounded down to nearest 5, so William could be any age between 45 & 49yrs.

If you are able to locate John in 1841 that would be fantastic. I know he was dead by 1848, so should not be locatable in 1851. He was my gt gt grandfather x3.
