# 10/1923 Corporal; B Coy, Wellington Infantry Battalion, 4th Reinforcements, New Zealand Expeditionary Force

Horace was born in Emsworth, HAM, ENG and emigrated to New Zealand in 1914.

He put his age up 6mths to be able to enlist.

7/8 Aug 1915 Killed in action, Chunuk Bair, Gallipoli, TUR - aged 20.
