6 Jun 1917 Killed in action, France – aged 26

Buried: Rosenberg Chateau Military Cemetery Extention. Then in 1930 the graves were exhumed and removed to Berks Cemetery Extension, Hainaut, BEL.
BRICK WALL: GG Grandad George HARWOOD / HORWOOD - bn c1815 Somerset ENG (possibly Thorne Coffin) - mar 1837 Brympton, Somerset - emigrated to NZL 1841.
