Hi, Robert Barlow, b1789 Chirk, Father: Robert Barlow b1754, Mother: Dorothy Price b1760. I believe Robert Married Sarah Edwards - Brymbo, 17 Dec. 1826.  I have the record but cannot make out the first name of the other Edwards listed, I think this info would be a clue in finding Sarah's birth.  Can someone on here have a look and try to decipher the name.  Thank you.

I think the marriage most probably took place at St Giles, Wrexham, not  Brymbo

There is a marriage bond that might have parents names, it does state with consent of parents.

Thank you Wilcoxon,  You are spot on, the marriage took place in the parish of Wrexham no mention of church.  I think the name on the entry is Benjamin Edwards if so there is a birth for Sarah  - Wrexham, 30 November 1800, Parents Ben and Jane.

If this marriage is correct, Robert was 36yrs and Sarah 26 yrs,  no parents consent in needed.

Are the Denbighshire parish registers on line anywhere? other than FindMyPast  I need to establish if there were any children.

Thank you Wilcoxon,  found on the list (ref 400) It would appear that (wcop) would rule this marriage out as Robert age 36 and Sarah age 26.  For my info what was the legal ages for marriage without consent c1826.
