In particular his WW1 involvement, but any verified info gratefully received.

Cecil Babrington Branson  married 27 Feb 1911  aged 27 - he is down as a traveller
His father was Edwin Halter Branson - insurance superintendant

Amy Collins    was 31 and her father was John Collins  - also an insurance superintendant

married at Cheltenham, St Luke, Gloucestershire, England

I see a Cecil Branson born in Scotland 1883 and that is the only one 1880-1890. I wonder if he later cut his age down to enlist?

More than likely Barry - so many of my NZ lot either put theirs up or down to qualify, so I guess the UK lot did as well. Would you beable to possibly send me the particulars of that birth please?

There are several newspaper items published on Friday 1 January 1926 about the death of a 38 year old Cecil Branson from Shepperton. Given the date, name, age, and residence it looks a distinct possibility.  Hope it isn't the same chap, for it isn't a happy story, I'm afraid.
