York Railway Museum Archives
« on: Thursday 09 April 15 19:49 BST (UK) »
Hi,

Hopefully I'm posting in the right place.

I am hoping to get a copy of a page from the North Eastern Railways Staff Magazine for October 1916 (page 231).
It should contain a piece with a picture on William Bootyman of the Northumberland Fusiliers who died in action earlier that year in France.

Wondering if anyone is visiting the York Railway Museum Archives and could save me a few pounds by kindly obtaining a copy of this article for me please ( I would of course pay photcopying/postage etc. costs) otherwise it will have to be the archives copying service (and I only want one page >:().

Many thanks and any help will be much appreciated.
Kev.

Hi Kev

I know it's not the photo/article you are after, but I came across this poignant page for William, will post the link below, apologies if you have already seen it

Hi Julie,

We did that page (and a few others :)) but thanks for reminding me about, had forgotten about it as we did them some time ago.
