Hi,
I will download go through the document for you.

However, I would suggest you try again to download for yourself.
The site is notoriously slow and there are variations according to when you try.

Persist a little and you may be lucky!

Transcribed, parts of the will which relate to bequests and administrators.

Harriet LOWDEN . Leinster Rd. Rathmines, County of Dublin.
Died at home 16th March 1901. The will was signed 15th Nov 1899

Trustees and executors Frederick Hall – Oak House Bacup, Lancashire and James Calcutt, Dublin.

The balance of   Bank Account  shared equally –

Mrs Sarah Curtis of address in Dublin.
William Greene of address in Dublin
Mrs Lizzie Hall of address in Wicklow
Mrs Ellen Farrar of address in Wicklow
Children of Mrs Sarah Houghton of address in Wicklow

Cash in my Box

Mrs Ellen Chapman of address in Dublin

Something also went to Rev Connellan Dawson for prayers etc.

Any sum which may be in the hands of the Executors of my late brother Frederick Wybrants and due to me and any portion of my share of the residue of my said brother’s property which shall be at that date unrealised to my nephew Doctor Frederick Hall of Oak House Bicup Lancashire and my grand niece Mary Emily Lynch in equal shares.

Also to Emily Lynch my chain and brooch
To my grand nephew Henry William Lynch my watch.

I haven't been able to view Harriet's will , just white pages downloaded !  Has anyone read it - just wanted to know if it mentioned any more children she may have had ...

Also, I found that a F. Wybrants attended the funeral of his brother Jonathan in 1883 in England - perhaps he went back to Ireland too.

It is possible, though it is not specifically stated above.
Clearly he was dead by 1899.

Sue,  Thank you so much for everything you have posted ...  I have found death of a Frederick Wybrants , Leinster Rd , Rathmines, Dublin in 1897, although he is aged 78, which is a bit much ... when he left for Australia in 1853 he was 26 !  I wonder if it is the same person.
If he died in Ireland too, then perhaps Harriet came back with him.

Her will doesn't seem to mention her daughter.

This ancestor game always has so many questions !  Thanks a million again
Liz

Sue,

I do not recall a living child from the LOWDEN marriage.
Have I missed something along the way?

Reply #8 I gave the birth and very early death of the only child I see on the index.

As that seems to be the same address that Harriet herself died at (see Will details above), I would say it is indeed the right man.

Ages are unreliable on both immigration lists and death documents ;D

Sorry Sue, I hadn't read your post properly, and didn't realise that the daughter had died ... my mistake  :-[

I'll now look for F & H's passage back home - many thanks again for all your help.
