Chatham Cuffay and other black workers at Chatham Historic Dockyard
« on: Sunday 19 April 15 17:09 BST (UK) »
Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust is working on a research project in association with the Medway African & Caribbean Association. We hope to uncover the stories of a range of different workers in the nineteenth century, including those of workers with origins from further afield, such as Africa or the Caribbean.

Please contact us if you have found any connection in your family trees, etc.

Regards
CHDT-MACA

Try contacting the Medway Branch of the Kent Family History Society.

https://www.kfhs.org.uk/meetings.htm#medway

I think someone there should be able to help you with the Cuffay family.
