Hi lyn,
I found NO trace of a baptism for John HARRINGTON at St Peter, Winchcombe, 1780-1784. However, I did find the following:-
December 5, 1783, John, son of Henry & Ann ?ARDINGTON baptised.
The ? is NOT an 'H' but could be a 'Y'.

my gt grandad henry harrington b 1870 birm
my grandad henry harrington b 1903 birm
and my dad is george henry harrington...

many many thanks victor if henry is my 5x gt grandfather it could be that john was named after anns father or maybe they did have a son called henry but hes not my direct line..

Hi Lyn,
I've checked my Glos marriage records but could not find a marriage for a Henry & Ann YARDINGTON or HARRINGTON.
However, I did find the following which may be of interest:-
Thomas YARDINGTON, Widower, married Ann DEAKINS at St Peter, Winchcombe, October 13th, 1824
Sorry I can't help further.

Hi lyn,
Sorry that I haven't been able to locate John HARRINGTON. I checked my copy of the 1841 Census for the parishes of Sudeley Manor & Winchcombe and there is NO sign of any HARRINGTON inhabitants.
I don't subscribe to A******y, so I am unable to check the 1851 Census.
All I can say is good hunting!
