Two baptisms and a burial 19 Dec 1834
« on: Monday 27 April 15 16:23 BST (UK) »
Hi All,

I've got two baptisms and a burial on 19 December 1834 and I wonder if the baptisms are twin.  Can anybody help, or have access to the parish records to see if more info?

Rebecca KING, burial 19 Dec 1834, aged 27, All Saints Swallowfield Berks
Elizabeth KING, bapt 19 Dec 1834, All Saints Swallowfield Berks, dau of John and Rebecca KING
Sarah KING, bapt 19 Dec 1834, All Saints Swallowfield Berks, dau of John and Rebecca KING

either twins and died in childbirth, or just combining for one family gathering!

Ever hopeful,

Family Search show both baptisms as above.  If the birthdate was recorded on the original register - it would have been transcribed

Hi Berkslass and CaroleW,

Thanks for your help.  I was hoping to see if someone had access to the actual records to see if there was more info.  Think I need a trip to Reading to see the original - and hoorah - at long last I've found some history less than 3 hour drive away!  I think it'll be worth it as this John KING appears to have had 16 children with his two wives so hopefully there will be some other goodies.

Thanks again,

Looks like Twins to me;
1 dies at 13 months and the other at 15yrs.
