scythia passenger list 1929
« on: Friday 08 July 05 09:49 BST (UK) »
hi Kathy a few weeks you found my aunt Agnes  OCallaghan on the Scythia from Liverpool to Boston july 1929 how can I get the rest of the passengers as I am looking for my grand mother  Mary E Ellis who would have been with her ,they were sisters .I have tried different sites but with no luck .I know you said there were about 48 pages to look through .I dont expect you to do that for me as you and all the friends at rootschat are doing a great job with all the requests you get asked to look up ,you all must spend a lot of your spare time looking through pages & pages of notes ,so I do appreciate all your help now and in the past
                   Thank you all again      Joanna

Thanks Kathy  you found my gmother Mary Ellis and her sister Agnes OCallaghan .Thier parents were still alive in Roscommon then so they must have been visiting them, I presume they must have travelled separately over to Ireland in 1929 and gmother went over in 1930 as they were on different ships .You deserve a medal for finding them amongst all the ships passing to and fro its nothing short of a miracle.
Thank you so much to you and all the team  for everything
                    Have a lovely  day      Joanna
