Help requested dating this photograph
« on: Tuesday 26 May 15 13:50 BST (UK) »
It's a tintype sized 3.75" by 5" and would have been taken in or near Sunderland, Co. Durham.

Any help gratefully received.

1870's & probably mid-late decade.
Taken in a booth rather than a studio & tintypes are always in reverse that's why the woman at the back appears to have her wedding ring on the wrong hand.
This is how they would have been posed.

Many thanks for the date and for the reversal information.  The wedding ring may help me to identify the people.  I had assumed she was a daughter of the older pair, but she may well be a daughter in law.
