download a tree from anc before sub expires?

need some urgent help folk....   grlfriends sub for anc expires today...how does one download the gedcoms> or data ....   what buttons do i hit etc ....   need beginners guide to what i must do please....    got 4 hours to get about 10 trees off....    thanks folks......    [ i dont have any trees on anc so i wouldnt have a cracker of knowledge for this].....

Hi

I don't have a tree on Ancestry so can't help with that but a GEDCOM doesn't include images etc so if she has attached any Ancestry records such as Census Images she will need to download them separately as I don't think she will be able to access them once her subscription expires.

If you have a tree on ancestry and your subscription runs out you will still be able to view [and alter] it, whether or not you can take a gedcom from it I'm not sure but I think not.

Of course, this can only be done if the [10] trees are your girlfriends, if they are the property of  someone else then you cannot.

My Ancestry sub expired at the beginning of April, and I am still able to view, and edit, all my trees!

I no longer have access to census, BMD, and other data - so I can't attach an image to my tree.
But I can add my own data quite happily.

To download a Gedcom:
1. Open the relevant tree.
2. Click on "Tree Pages" and "Tree Settings".
3. Under "Manage your Tree" on Right-hand side, click on Export Tree (green button).
4. When it's finished processing, click on "Download your GEDCOM file" (another green button!)
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

cheers for responses.........    will take all into consideration........   twas madly copying and pasting specs most of yesterday into a file so at least she has a "Burkes" style assessment.....

If you have a big monitor, a screen shot of the scrollable "tree" view might be worth taking.
