Hi Can anyone help finding a baptism or 1861 census return I am looking for a Johanna/Joanna BURCH (cld be spelt Birch) She was born 1854 & in the 1871 census a servant aged 17 under Joanna Burch. I am trying to find her parents. She states on census born Woodbridge & married in 1874 at Ipswich where she gives name as Johanna Maud . Wld appreciate any help/thoughts on this, thanks

As she gives her name as Johanna, I wonder if this could be her listed as Hannah? There is no Hannah Burch as far as I can see born Woodbridge 1854

If that is her, an on line tree gives her parents as  John Burch 1828 – 1902 and Eliza Shimmen
1837 – 1910.

Hi Thanks I think you maybe right as no Joanna to be found except for those I mentioned. I think I will go with this as I all makes sense.
