ancestry has this birth registration which gives a different spelling of her name
Rieta May Macmillan born 25 September 1911 at R.M. of Victoria, Manitoba, Canada
Mother's name - Mildred Wooley 

But there seem to be a couple of others on the Canada 1911 census one with mother Dora.

There is a marriage of Reta May McMillan to Earl Sydney Smallcombe 01/11/1933 Victoria, Manitoba.

Hi,

Found the obituary for Reta Smallacombe's sister Lillian Beatrice (McMillan) Mahon.  She died in Treherne Manitoba on Oct 17 1985.  It lists family members, including sister Reta Smallacombe of Treherne, and parents (who had predeceased her) Fred and Amelia.  Also predeceased by brother Alex.  Lillian was born and raised in the Camille District, north of Holland. 

So, this Reta's parents are Fred and Amelia.

Looks like Reta Smallacombe that Cosmac found was the same Reta who was born in 1911 - as found by Crisane.

I'm assuming here that the Reta you are seeking info about is the daughter of Dora and Samuel McMillan, brother of Lancelot, etc., which is the family you have asked about previously?

According to the 1911, 1916, and 1921 censuses, this Reta was born in B.C. (British Columbia) as were several of her siblings. But the family was living in Manitoba at the time of the censuses.

If Reta remained in Manitoba, her marriage may have occurred after the dates available to the public due to privacy laws, which in the case of marriages is 80 years. Reta would still have been relatively young 80 years ago and could have married any time after the cutoff dates.

It looks like Dora and Samuel are the parents of the Reta McMillan being sought here.  I don't see anything about this Reta/Rita's marriage in the papers I have access to.  I will have another look, now that I have other family members' names to use in the search.

the other reta is incorrect as didnt have a sister named lillian, she had 2 sisters named lorna and berniece
