Hi
I also have an Isabella Blair born 1802 Duns in my family. She married James Robertson in 1822 in Duns.

According to the old scottish tradition of naming their children (which this family seemed to follow) her parents should be George and Alison. These names have come down through the generations as well.

One of Isabellas daughters had an Alison Blair living with her and I found Alison also living with a George and Alison (her grandparents) on the census. I looked for possiblities of George and Alison having my Isabella
 - George Blair married Alison Sinclair 1787 oldhamstocks
- your George and Alison Darling

The only Isabella I found being born was your one though. Am wondering if you can shed any light on the matter. they probably didnt have 2 Isabellas at the same time :)

Thanks
Sarah-Jane
