I have been unable to find a birth/baptism for the above named person. It is believed she was born about 1809 in Fordham.

James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

It's also on the Cambs FHS Baptism Index 1801-37 at https://www.cfhs.org.uk/searchsd.cfm as Mary A.S. Brown, natural daughter of Jane. I couldn't find it searching for Mary Brown, but a search against Brown and Fordham succeeded.
