"Moheady Mills"

Hi. Can anyone suggest a possible location for sounds like "Moheady Mills" in Co Wexford. I know of Saltmills, Randalls Mills and Mocurry Mills but nothing that sounds like Moheady. No townland that I can find in Co Wexford from any of the 2008 publication of Wexford Library, census of 1901/1911 or Griffiths Valuation. Family associated with it were Fitzpatricks. Thanks.

Moyeady  is to be found on the N80 it is situated between townland of Coolattin  And Tombrick unfortunately there is no trace of the mill - think this mill was used to mill. Flax

In the 1901 census Moyeady is listed as Hoyeady  - also it might worth checking Kilmyshal parish records as the townsland is on the border of parish of castledorrell and Kilmyshal

The earliest mention of a mill I can find is an article about the repair/maintenance of roads -

Wexford Independent, 2 May 1846
28. To repair 500 perches from Newtonbarry to Enniscorthy between Patrick Doyle's house and Moieady mill, not to exceed £30.

The map at #4 above identifies a corn mill and carding mill + spinning factory. Don't know the date of the map.

Coolattin is the adjoining townland to Moheady  so I think this is the family of Fitzpatrick you are looking for
