All the RC registers are not at NLI!!!

f you go to  http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/browse/#counties

then go to whatever County you need, the click on 'Catholic Records' it shows all the dates for Registers

PLUS the dates which ARE ONLINE at NLI,  with direct link to whichever Parish you want at NLI via the   Image Online    link


It tells you where the REST of the Registers are!

THE NLI ONLY SCANNED THOSE THEY HAVE!!

I am not aware that NLI have any RC Parish Registers.

I believe all RC Parish Registers are held by the Parish.

The NLI have put online all Registers that were scanned.

"The NLI holds microfilm copies of over 3500 registers from 1086 parishes".

Just to note    there are marriages May 1854 to Nov 1855 at the end of this microfilm for     
SS Peter and Paul's, Cork and Ross.
the film no is 04786/04 baptisms  Jan 1837 to Dec 1855.

This seems to be occurring quite often

Film 04186/03 Oristown Meath.
Which says only baptisms but has marriages 1848 - 1880
