Death look-up - Port Adelaide

Would be very grateful if some-one could find any information re. the death of 

Elizabeth Ann Middleton.....died in 1953.  Her death was registered at Port Adelaide (801/4782).

She died (we believe) aboard ship before arriving in Aus.  She was the widow of George Middleton, and would have been aged about 77 years old.

I have found the entry on the website 'GenealogySA'.....but am not a member.

Also - any ideaof where she would have been buried?

I don't have a burial place as yet but if it is Pt Adelaide it would more than likely be Cheltenham cemetery. I will have a look for you

Thank you so much - that is excellent!  So much for family stories!  At least she got to see her daughter!

I looked at the Cheltenham graves online...couldn't find her.

Yes. Silly me. If you go to the same page and look at funerals she is buried in Dudley Park Cemetery. Nice little cemetery , very pretty.
