Richard Potts POLE born 1843 Huntingdonshire

I wonder whether some kind person could look up a census record for this person that gives his parents names.
Additionally is it possible to look up his baptism record?

It looks like Mrs Pole started out as a Miss Potts.
You may want to look at this for a photo of William Pole.

There are birth registrations for the children but I can't find a marriage for the couple.Buying the birth cert would confirm her maiden name but its £9.25.

ps if you go with Faithful Francis as Grandfather there's a baptism Combe Florey 19.6.1777 to Richard and Grace Pole.

But struggling to find kids baptisms.
Maria 26.3.1809 Lydeard St Lawrence is it.

Found Faithful's bapstisms at Halse on Free Reg

William Pole 17.7.1814 s of Faithful and Grace lime burner Halse.
Others Maria 24.12.1797,James 23.11.1806,Frances 28.6.1816 lab,and Harriet 28.2.1819.

But there is also a William s of John and Elizabeth lab Halse 5.12.1813.
Also daughter Ann 29.12.1816.
Burial  for John  age 39 1.4.1820.
However William son of John does marry a Mary Walk  at Halse 16.4.1838 so it looks like the first one to Faithful and Grace.

As William came over to New Zealand perhaps his death certificate will include his parents names.
His burial at Christchurch says he is 66 when he died 26.11.1879 and he is buried with Richard Potts died 10.2.1876  age 89.

It may be to late to add this to this thread...

The William son of John (my ancestor - I spent ages trying to prove it was this William rather than the son of Faithful - this thread helps prove it) was a thatcher in Halse in 1861. This points to the William son of Faithful being the one you are looking for.

Also if your William died in New Zealand, this helps prove the William on the burial records in Halse is William son of John - so thank you.
