Help Reading Statutory Register
« on: Friday 17 July 15 18:43 BST (UK) »
I downloaded the register record for Harriet Elizabeth Walsh, born in Greenrock, Renfrew, Scotland.  I can make out some information however I cannot read the time of birth or address at time of birth.  I think the word in parentheses next to Ship Carpenter is journeyman? The registration date appears to read January 20th which doesn't fit with the record description of 29 January.  Anybody have a better set of eyes?

Thanks in advance,
kptz

I would ask for a rescan to improve the quality of the image. When you view the image on SP under the image is "For help with viewing images click here. If you would like to send a comment to us about the quality or transcription of this image, click here.". If you click on the comment  about quality or transcription link you will be  taken to a form where you can submit a request for a rescan. Usually next day you  will receive by email a rescanned image.

Thank you all for your help and suggestions.  I requested a rescan of the document. I wasn't aware that was an option. The correct reading is -- an 1st, 2hr am, 3 McKenzie Street, Greenock & Journeyman.
