i have noticed on some of the certificates i have have different counties on them but for the same area ( IE kings norton worcester ) then kings norton
warwickshire anyone know if moved borders about in the 1800s

Hi Jake.
I don't think that they moved the county boders about then but the Kings Norton registration district covered bits of Staffordshire and Warwickshire even though Kings Norton itself was in Worcestershire.

Is it possible that when the certificates were filled in the county was included as clarification as to which bit of the kIngs Norton district was involved?
