Census Look Up Please

I have an Ann Sturgess (Born Devon, 1821) on 1871 census living with her children in Gomeldon and Idmiston.
The next census I can find her on is the 1891 one, lodging with a hedgeley family in St leonards Hastings along with her 6yr old Grandson Dudley Joesph Basil Holley (Born Hastings 1885). On the 1901 census she is still living in Hastings.
I wondered if anyone could find her on the 1881 census for me please??

Also on the 1891 census I cannot find Dudleys parents, Joseph Holley (Born approx 1852 but don't know where) and Elizabeth Kate Jane Holley (Born Hungerford Berks, 1860). (On the 1901 census his mother is down as Elizabeth but on her marriage certificate she is down as Kate)!! They were married in Birmingham Warwick.

Another glorious day eh!!!

Ann was born 1821 in Devon as for her son in law Joseph I have had not alot of luck finding anything on him apart from looking at his marriage cerificate he was born approx: 1852.

Thankyou John, i've managed to find the family on 1871, although no luck with my Jospeh Holley who was born approx 1852 but have no idea where, don't seem to beable to find anything on him anywhere :-(

Hello!

I know I am posting a bit late, but I've just joined RootsChat and did a search on "Holley's" and I think you may be a match!

I have a Joseph Holley in my tree, which may be a match to the Joseph Holley you are looking for.  Unfortunately, I do not have any details on who he married, etc., but he was the older brother of my great great great grandfather, William Holley. 

The Joseph in my tree was born in Marchwood, Southampton.  His father was a Henry Holley (b. 1829) and his mother was Lucy Nutbean (b. 1831).

In the 1871 Census, Joseph was an agricultural labourer, living in Marchwood.
