1851 Letitia Safford Francis & mother, Norwich area

Can anyone find Letitia and her mother Mary Ann in 1851?

Letitia was christened in November 1830 at Dickleburgh, Norfolk daughter of John and Mary Ann and so far I can find only one sister, Caroline (1841 census, born around 1824)

Her father John pre-deceased the 1841 census.

In 1841 Letitia was living with her stepfather Robert Scotter (as Scotten) in Norwich, but the stepfather and Mary Ann separated that year due to his alleged violence towards Mary Ann and Mary Ann wanting Robert's daughter from his first marriage out of the house. 

I have found Robert in 1851, but Mary Ann, Caroline and Letitia are missing. 

I've got a possible marriage for Caroline in 1844 that I am just looking at separately but Letitia I believe dies unmarried in 1856 so she and Mary Ann must be around.  Mary Ann is still alive as she appears in 1861 in Heigham (but she is not the Mary Ann in Norwich on the 1851 born 1797 with children Henry Peter, William and Hannah.  This Mary Ann is that Mary Ann's sister in law....)

So if anyone can find either in 1851 I would be grateful...

Looks like Caroline married and went to live on the Isle of Wight-no mother or sister with her though.

Do you have the census refs for Caroline?  the marriage I found was to a William Sisson but I can't confirm its her

In 1841 Caroline aged 17 and Letitia aged 12 seem to be living next door to Robert Scotter and Mary Ann Scotter(her mother) and there is another Mary Ann Scotter there as well aged 22 years. (His daughter?)
There is a marriage 25th June 1843 for a Caroline Francis to a William Sesson in Norfolk, which I guess is your possible marriage you have found. You could get a marriage cert for this to make sure of course, and there may be some witness's mentioned.
However, sorry but the William and Caroline I found is not yours as she was born on the Isle of Wight, and living in Norfolk.

  Hi, just a small point, I noticed her father's occupation is given as schoolmaster on the marriage details provided by The Yokel. On the Norfolk baptism project site (Dickleburgh) Letitia's baptism shows her father is also a schoolmaster. Dave.

The 1851 census has a Jane Francis age 22 born Dickleburgh, a servant in St Peters Mancroft, Norwich
HO/107/1815 f342 pg53

I can't find a Jane baptised at that time in Dickleburgh.

By the way, where was Caroline born, could it have been IOW?

yes, as Dave said Letitia's baptism and Caroline's marriage certificate do match up with regards to the father which is why I am half minded that the Sisson/Sesson marriage is correct.

Yokel - Caroline could well have been IOW born - I certainly can't find her at Dickleburgh on the Norfolk baptisms project, only Letitia.

Edited -  there is a Caroline Francis daughter of John and Mary Ann in Christchurch in 1824.  Could be her.  Only found a transcript so far so can't check John's occupation
