Look up Hartlepool

Trying to find any information on Taylorson's Yard, Hart Lane in 1928?  Who lived there etc.
I know a Dennis Richard Portas was born there in 1928, father Harry, mother Minnie.

Minnie was probably Mary

Harry R Portas married Mary Welsh June qtr 1928 Easington 10A 892

However -

Births March qtr 1928 
Dennis R Portas mmn     Biggin    Hartlepool    10a   172

Thank you for the input however I know that Minnie was not Mary for certain.  What I'm trying to determine is who was at that address at that time?  Not sure if there was an electoral role done that year?

according to the GRO index, Dennis R Portas , born 1928 had a mother whose maiden name was Biggin.

I can't see a marriage for a Portas and a Biggin in the GRO marriages index.

I can't think of any reason why there wouldn't have been an electoral roll compiled in 1928, try emailing via the link on this site to enquire if a copy is held by th local history section of Hartlepool Library.

They appear to have had another child born 1926 in Warwickshire
