Help locating a marriage at East Grinstead
« on: Friday 14 August 15 15:33 BST (UK) »
Hello

I have a relative named Removed Steel. He was born in 1923 in East Grinstead, Sussex to Jonathan Steel and Edith C Walker.

I am trying to find a marriage for him, with no luck. According to a family member, he married a woman named Removed and had children.

They were still living in East Grinstead in the 1980s

any help would be appreciated

thanks

Slightly off topic, there's no death upto 2007, is he still alive?

I've got a recent address for them in Derby

The Government website shows a Will and Grant of probate dated 01 November 2002 at the Brighton Probate office, the death was 27 August 2002. The death does not show up in the index.

Wrong man, he was born 1917, the 'grant' was proved at the Brighton probate registry, not where the death occured.

Unless he's very recently died, the person of interest is very elderly and still alive in Derby with the lady in question.
