Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could help me trace Donald Edward Wheeldon. He married Nita Doreen Moore in 1941 in Weymouth, Dorset but then left her to marry Cicely Isobel Patricia Mordan in 1947 in Portsmouth. 2 years later Cicely and their daughter emigrated to New Zealand but Donald is no where to be found. He is on the electoral role in New Zealand from 1957 and when he was naturalised in 1977 the former states he was born on 28th January 1918 in Sudbury, Derbyshire but the family seem to think he was born in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. There is a birth record that supports the family's thoughts, volume 6b page 535. If this is correct then his mother's maiden name is Leech, again I can't find a marriage for a woman named Leech to a man named Wheeldon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
