ADAM ROBSON b 1832 where are you in 1861???
« on: Friday 21 August 15 15:48 BST (UK) »
I have just about given up on the 1861 census with Adam and Helen (b1833) married 2 June 1854 in Jedburgh.   In 1871 still in Jed at 91 Castlegate (where most of the Robsons lived and died over the years).   Daughter Janet Riddell R born 1860 in 76 Castlegate.    I have tried and spent loads of time and money to trace them in 1861 but to no avail.   He was a stonemason and died in 91 CG in 1874.   Helen (Ellen) nee Mabon died same place No 87) in 1893

I am sitting here almost in tears - you solved in 30 seconds what has taken me weeks if not longer.   How do you do it???    The annoying thing is that on this entry page on SP I already had info on another Robson.    Cant seem to see the entry re Janet R Robson    Thank you very  very much, now on to the next problem.

That's sweet of you to offer thank you but keep them for yourself  :)

I was lucky someone had put the right name in brackets as just typed in Janet Riddell Robson born 1860 and up it came!
