Ancestry - "British Citizens that died overseas"
« on: Sunday 23 August 15 11:37 BST (UK) »
I thought I would post this topic, as it might be interesting to some people.
I searched for a relative on Ancestry, and found no death record of him, and thought he probably left  England. He could not be found on  ships passenger list, going anywhere in the world.
I went in and out of Ancestry for two years, hoping and searching.
One day there was a record, on new record collections, British Citizens that died overseas, and there I found him. I wanted to review this collection again about a year later. The record collection was gone, and they said on Ancestry they never had it, and I must have found him on wills and probate or a family tree. Well if I did the record would still  be ther now wouldīnt it, and it isīnt. Now I need it to look for another relative, on British Citizens that died overseas.  I regret that I did not look for both relativeīs when I had the chance.
findmypast, donīt seem to have the record collection either Does anyone know where I might find the  record collection, British Citizens that died overseas.
Martin in Kent,Canada,and Australia.
Waghorn in England, and Australia.

Perhaps it was the "UK, Foreign and Overseas Registers of British Subjects, 1628-1969" database on Ancestry?
