Hi,

A bit of info on the school -

Broadway School A board school for boys, girls, and infants, opened in temporary premises in West Street in 1887, was moved in 1888 to a permanent site between South Broadway Street and Branston Road. An additional infants' block was added in 1892. The mixed boys' and girls' department had been converted by 1924 into a central school for senior pupils, which was closed in 1941; the premises then became the intermediate and junior technical schools. The infants' school was closed in 1984 on the opening of Anglesey primary school.
