Can anyone help me out & help me find the birth of this woman & who her parents & siblings were?
She is my great Aunt married to my Great Uncle Fredrick Smith in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada.  My records show her born about 1865 but this could be a bit of an error.
Researching Smith from Shetland, Herd from Arboath, Whittier, Combs from England & Wales plus Albrecht (Albright), Carkner (Kirchner) & Syrnyk (Syrnick) from Prussia. Laurenson in South Africa

She does not appear on the 1871 census under that name which could mean the family emigrated before the 1871 census. 

You will need to buy a copy of her birth cert to obtain details of her parents

A tree on Ancestry has her parents as George Norton and Amelia Martin.  There is an 1864 marriage for them on freebmd

The 1871 has a George Norton aged 40 - carpenter b Great Chart Kent and wife Amelia S aged 28 b Chichester Sussex living as lodgers with the Flood family in Maidstone but no children with them

This could be them, but unsure as there were other George Norton in Kent.  However the name Amelia certainly looks obvious.  Thank you so much.
