1901 census ,Bell.

I am searching for a Bell family in 1901. Not quite sure if they would have been in Newcastle or Durham and I dont have a lot to go on.

Elizabeth Ann Bell b. Newcastle? c1888.
father was an Isaac Bell. All I know on him is that he was a general labourer.

An Isaac Bell married Elizabeth Shaw Newcastle 1885, is that any help?

Hi Eli our Janet Rowley married Issac Bell 1885 in Newcastle and he was a Bookmaker or Bootmaker in 1891 census.    In 1901 census Issac was 38, children were  Mary L, age 15, Issac 3 month, and two Welfare visitors Polly Stainson and Margaret Harris both single, Janet his wife wasn`t at home, they were living at 35, Leazes Lane Newcastle on Tyne.   Don`t know if this is the Bell family you are looking for. It states that Issac Bell was a Commision Agent. There was no mention of an Elizabeth Ann Bell. gladys1

Thanks for that.. I think I may have to order Elizabeth birth certificate to confirm I think. Bell is such a common name and to my surprise, quite a few Isaacs.

Maybe Janet was with Elizabeth somewhere. or I wonder where Isaac and Ann were.. oh the joys of this.
