looking for some info on great great grandparents

i am at a stand still on any research i have done on my gg grandmother Jessie Mccreath (nee) Proctor who was born in scotland. i cant find a birth year but in an old photo there is a date of june 19th for birth and for death there is a date of october 3 1931. i have found a marriage cert. for her and her husband david mccreath born march 23 1851 death sept 21 1915. her parents on the marriage cert and labled as i believe father james proctor and mother as john howe (which i find hard to think john would be a womens name) i am just looking for an kind of conformation that these are jessie proctors parents and looking for any other information people are willing to help me out with. she was born in scotland but i am unsure where in scotland.  thanks to anyone that can help!!!

David McCreath appears to have been born in Maybole Ayrshire - parents Hugh and Elizabeth

The 1861 Scottish census has a 10yr old Jessie Proctor b England living as a boarder in Glasgow with her mother Jane and 3 other siblings

iam unsure on how old she was when she died
she married david i believe in hamilton ont. canada feb 24 1874
they were both born in scotland
im trying to find where i saved the marriage cert but it did say they were both born in scotland

found it* it says they were both 23 so same birth year
for her parents its hard to make out the first name but the second name for a parent is for sure john howe

Daughter Isabella died in Birkenhead in 1857 aged 9yrs

thanks carol.  would you be willing to help me with one more thing?  my great grandmother Margaret Mccreath(nee) Walker born 1884 died 1980 married to Thomas Mccreath born 1877 died 1971. I have been unable to find anything on Margaret all i have come across is a grave with the above information on it. they are burried in blackfalds alberta canada, they were married in 1921 in canada i believe but that is it for any info i have on her. i cant find a birth cert or a death cert or a marriage cert. something with her parents names on it.    thanks so much

Was Thomas born in Canada (son of David & Jessie perhaps?).  If so - he was born 1882 according to this 1901 entry

A marriage in 1921 would put them as 39 and 37 respectively which seems a bit old for a first marriage back then
