I am looking for a possible baptism of a Mary Nugent in 1860. She was married in Derrynoose catholic church in 1879 age 19. Her father was James Nugent a farmer. Her mother's name may have been Anne.  I searched early parish records but to no avail. She had a daughter baptised in 1880 at the same church then probably immigrated to USA.  Her mother's name may have been Anne.
Thankyou. :)

My great grandfather was from Derrynoose, County Armagh as was his siblings.

I found a baptism record for Mary Ann Nugent Baptized 11 May 1860 in Derrynoose whose father was Edward and mother Mary (last name might have been Reily named after Bridget Reily a sponsor at her baptism.

Mary married William Hunter on 25 April 1879 when she was 19 (she would have been 20 if she waited a month).  Mary and William had a baby girl Bridget Hunter born on 28 April and baptized on 21 May 1880.

Maybe Mary's father's name was Edward James and he went with James.

Good luck with your searches.
