Mary ellen hindmarch married matthew macnay in 1889 tynemouth - i have found them on the 1901 census but trying to find her in 1891- a married matthew mac nay is living with his daughters margaret and sarah in long benton northumberland but where is mary ellen?

matthew is my relative im just trying to find out if hindmarch is mary ellen's birth name therefore trying to find her 1841-1891

Yes thats correct...jane died in 1888 tynemouth (listed as june macnay)

Hi Durhamgirl, have you bought the marriage certificate for their marriage? father's name would help on search..
Matthew age 21 married Jane Twist age 18 2 Aug 1852 Prescot Lancs - his father = Thomas and Jane's = Paul

Matthew Macney married Mary Ann Hindmarch 19 Oct 1889 Long Benton Northumberland (England select Marriages) FHL film no: 1469112

1901 census shows Matthew is age 75 and Mary is 71 and she was born Berwick-Upon-Tweed Northumberland
a possible.. Mary Macnay death April  qtr 1902 Tynemouth Northumberland age 73  Vol 10b Page 163

Thankyou for taking the time to look this up...i already have all this information..i will eventually get round to buying the marriage certificate but was trying to find her in 1891....matthew and mary got married a couple of years earlier but shes not with him in 1891 so im trying to find her....with no joy

one daughter had middle name of HINDMARSH born 1901

this looks to be her death
