Henry (known as Harry) Johnston son of Alex and Helen Johnston, Farmeloan Road Rutherglen died on the 13th May l917. There is a headstone at Brown's Copse Cemetery, Roeux, France. Died age 28. He was in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders - 1st/8th Bn. I have a copy of a letter written by Private D. Macfarlane informing his mother of his death.
