Marriage of John Nicholson & Ann ? - circa 1785, possibly in Sunderland area

I am researching a Nicholson family and I'm stuck on a John Nicholson who had married Ann ? and they had 3 children baptised in Sunderland - Margaret (1786, Malling Riggs, Sunderland), Jane (1789, Robinson Lane, Sunderland) & Morrison (1793, Malling Riggs, Sunderland), all non-conformist chapels.
Can anybody help mke find a marriage record for John Nicholson & Ann?  I would also like to verify John's parentage.  Any help would be apprec8iated.

Just to say it is Maling's Rigg as shown on this map http://www.durham-images.org/public/ms/m11/m11se5.html named after William Maling.
